OUR STORY

The Flour Pot Café provides home cooked, heart felt meals and service to the community. It is a meeting point for friends, travelers, locals and tourists providing warm hospitality, great food and excellent service. The Flour Pot Café aims to continue and expand on its local footprint by providing fundraising for local charities and needs, commencing new business partnerships with local business to demonstrate pride in our community and continue on providing nourishing meals at an affordable price for all.

Damian and Sarah are a husband and wife team who are passionate about good food, good connections, investing in the future and giving to the community. Sarah has previously worked in a public library service in outreach and community support and has a passion for inclusion, helping others and engaging with the community. Both Sarah and Damian have a passion for good food and providing warmth and hospitality to all. The Flour Pot Café provides inside seating for 45 patrons with an extra 6 seats outside. It’s facilities include front sidewalk seating, a large all access toilet with hand rails and is in a prime location in the Main Street of Bacchus Marsh, situated as the first café when entering the town via the avenue. It currently runs with rotating staff to ensure familiar faces greet any returning patrons.

Since owning the cafe, we have tried to source as much of our fresh produce locally, as Bacchus Marsh and the surrounds have some of the best fresh produce available.

Ballan Local Butcher supplies our bacon, sausages and scotch steak. Our free range eggs come from Casaccio Egg Farm in Werribee. Spinach and lettuce from local farms, and our speciality breads from Darley Bakehouse to name a few.
